The weather can be a crapshoot in Kodiak. The weather guessers were calling for rain and wind. It held off on Friday and it's an SKS and agent orange got into town OK. We got the U-Haul/office loaded and ready for Saturday morning at the Kodiak Island Sportsmans Association range at Salonie Creek.
The weather guys guessed right, it was wet and windy Saturday morning when we arrived at the range but that didn't stop 16 Kodiak shooters from showing up in full rain gear. The weather slowed things up a little but we plugged along ok. At the end of the day we had completed the days COF except for the standing position and no AQTs.
Sunday morning weather was lots better, broken clouds no wind and warmer. Eight people returned for a second day. Everyone made good progress and Velma qualified several times
Kodiak Island Sportsman's Association generously gave Project Appleseed free use of the range again this year, many thanks to them
