We had ten attendees at last weekend's Appleseed in Lebanon at the Bozrah Rod and Gun club. Participants had varying degrees of abilities, from beginners to veterans, made for a busy and satisfying event.

Aided Saturday by Kosciuszko things got underway and proceded throughout the day with instruction, demos and hands on for those struggling with either equipment or factors on applying the fundamentals. Once we got through the POI's and drills we got in two AQT's by day's end.

One of our repeat Rifleman, Todd, distinguished himself with a 244 score followed by Brody with a 226.

Sunday started with Parallax and MattNH giving their expertise on the line and helping thru the day. By days end we had Pat requalify with a 217, Matt also firing a 225 and Brody doing so on an RFAQT with a 219.
Bob hung tough advancing scorewise and putting it all together with a 220, followed by Matt firing a 223 on the last AQT for the weekend.

The shooters were great to work with, our junior crew hanging tough although having more than their share of trials during the weekend. Congrats for staying at it Ryan and Braydon. All others attending showed improvement.

The shooters were an awesome group to work with and on, all taking the instruction well. The IT crew of Kosciuszko, Matt NH and Parallax made things run smoothly and covered the bases well. Thanks to you all.

The Bozrah Rod and Gun club have been strong proponents of Appleseed in eastern Ct, we look forward to events there. A big thank you for the use of the facilities. A shout out to Bob, the BOTG, who helps make this come together and Ted for his efforts in the kitchen. They always have a good breakfast and lunch to keep everyone well fed.

Probably the best event with the weather co operating 100% and no outside issues to mention. I'll take it, it doesn't happen often!

 Even so, a Rifleman persists.

As always, I enjoyed working the Appleseed and doing 2nd Strike for the first time.  All shooters made great progress!
