We run an instructor/friends of Appleseed KD every New Year's or New Year's Eve in Tennessee to give our instructors a chance to requalify.

Many thanks to:
    Maximum Effort, Booney Stomper, and WileyCoyotoe for showing up before the sun, to get the range
    set up.

    Upacreek and Special K for doing a great job telling history. These ladies are awesome.

    Google and Maximum Ordinate for helping with instruction.

    Eagle Keeper for once again being the go-to line boss for this event.

    And to all of the instructors and friends that came out to shoot.

Congratulations to WileyCoyote, Upacreek, Peace and Love, and Tellico for hitting the shingle.

New KD rifleman: Lucas with a 41 and 46, Johnny with a 42, Peace and Love a 41.

Requalifying: ArmyVet 41, Tellico 43, Maximum Effort with 49 Huzzah AND a 42 Left-handed.

Many thanks to all the hardworking instructors that help make the Tennessee Vally Appleseed Program a  sucess.

I have come here to chew gum and teach riflemen the art of shooting one hole groups and I'm all out of bubblegum.

What a perfect way to end the year with Appleseed family and a fun event.  Thanks for putting it on, Cleveland.  I didn't grab a lot of pictures because shooting is fun (who knew?).


Wind can't make up its mind here.  Zoom in on the different flags.  Each is in a different direction.  This is normal for this range and not a tornado.  Those of us that don't know how to adjust for wind YET will either go crazy or hopefully learn something - maybe both.


Wiley and a Simon make things look easy.  It was cold enough down here that we could see the rifle's breath.


Peach and Love earned his Morgan's Shingle and his KD Rifleman patches today!  Awesome!!!


Maximum Effort earned his distinguished patch for his right handed shooting, but only a rifleman patch for his left-handed shooting.  Hahahaha

Would have loved to have been with you guys for this event, but priority was to be with son and family in Kennesaw before they return to France today, Jan 3. Congrats to all who honed and demonstrated their rifleman skills!

Had a great time this weekend. I can't think of any way I would have preferred to spend New Year's eve! Congrats to all riflemen  ^:)^
