We had another great weekend at Palmerton Rod & Gun Club.  Some of our students took advantage of the Club's camping facilities over the weekend.  Many thanks for being such outstanding hosts of Project Appleseed for so many years!

It was a hot and sunny late-summer weekend, and we really enjoyed the breeze that helped keep us comfortable on Saturday.  The results of the first Hits Count target of the weekend were pretty good, and the afternoon targets even better.  We ended the day anticipating a hotter Sunday and spending some time on the Appleseed Qualification Targets.

Marksmanship improved on Sunday, until the heat began to take its toll after lunch.  Several students produced Sharpshooter scores, but only Spencer broke into the Rifleman ranks with a high score of 217.  It was a great, safe weekend thanks to a group of motivated, attentive students and experienced instructors.  Thanks to all, and we hope to see you all again!
