This was a standard one-day "10/22" event on 10-22, 2022! What a great day for a Saturday rifle clinic. Except for starting out a bit chilly in the morning, the weather could not have been better!  No popups needed, and it warmed up quickly and 16 eager folks (14 of whom were first-timers...a great day for Liberty!) got to hear a well-done First Strike by Gator.  After accommodating for one late signup and one walk-on,  the clinic progressed as normal, and we got down to the business of improving marksmanship.  The unexpected arrival of Leadslinger was a Godsend, because it allowed the Shoot Boss to circle back home to retrieve more target stands while Leadslinger did the opening comments, introductions, etc. Thank you so much. The students were very engaged from the start, and it continued throughout the day. Josiah (7) and Titus (6) were a delight to work with. They worked really hard to understand and do all the right things. The extra oversight by Stephen (dad) and Frank (grandfather) helped the instructors make sure these young shooters had a safe and fun day. We hope to see the entire family again soon. Marina and Kristen, you both continue to improve, and I am sure there is a Rifleman score in your near future. The instructors all spoke highly of how well the attendees were really engaged throughout the day. All progressed well from the first "Hits Count" target to the one ending the day. Marina almost cleared the target, missing only slightly the Morgan shingle. And all showed much improvement by days end.

We, instructors, especially appreciated the parting comments by so many of you, that not only would you be signing up for another clinic soon, but that you would be bringing others with you. Outstanding! All of you really made our day with your attentiveness to the instruction and the application of what you learned. Your enthusiasm was contagious. We hope to see all of you again soon.
