IXOYE

We had a great event in Stockton. The temps started out a little chilly with a meager 28 degrees on Saturday morning. But it warmed up nicely and our shooters did great. We had six on the line Saturday, four of which were brand new to shooting a rifle. On Sunday a veteran Appleseeder joined in to give us seven on the line. Everyone made great progress in their marksmanship skills. One of our newbies almost cleared his redcoat on Saturday and another scored a 200 on the AQT on Sunday. Two of our shooters earned their rifleman patches on Sunday.

After our KD presentation on Sunday one of our participants brought out his M1 Garand and we shot some steel at 200 yards.

Many thanks to Tom Noller for letting us use his land to learn about rifle marksmanship and the heritage our founding fathers gave us. May we never take our liberty for granted.

Here are some pictures from our weekend. If you click on an image it will enlarge. Click on it again and it will shrink back down.
