It was a wonderful event with a large turnout of instructors who had a great time shooting their big boy rifles on the long range. Thanks for coming out and spending a hot summer weekend at the IDMR.  It was very good to celebrate May birthday's.  Joe (salt water shooter)  Jan  (silver bullet) & Chuck (gun junkie) were the lucky birthday boys celebrated with fine shooting, Birthday cake & candles, &  homemade signs & cards.

What a great weekend. Thanks Ken and Lori for another fantastic event. It was nice to be given an opportunity to shoot and share thoughts on KD shooting all while spending time with friends. Thanks Lori for the birthday celebrations it was fun.

best event  thanks to ALL of the instructors who came and improved in their shooting skills & had a GREAT time  Glad you came to the  IDMR and Enjoyed them selves.

This was a great event!  Happy Birthday to Salt Water Shooter, Silver Bullet and of course my Gunjunkie!!!  We had two shooters who scored at KD for the first time -- CONGRATS to Jimmy "Kona Boy" and Rick "Patriot 1775" -- WOO HOO!

The people at the IDMR are my best friends. They are the best friends I have ever had - I know that to be true because I worked the KD at the target line in heavy rain in safety, with walkie-talkie comms as shooters tuned their 300yd zeroes. I trust them (though I still verify).

Out of 7 centerfire rifles on the line, 5 of them had telescoping buttstocks - that means something (not nothing). I began experimenting with buttstock lengths and discovered something that allowed me a great leap forward in accuracy under time pressures.

Engineer Shooting is so tolerant with such private experimentation on the line. I don't think you get that latitude just anywhere. IMPO he is the best rifle instructor of positional shooting in the SouthEast US, maybe even the entire US. It's what takes us on to long-range shooting, which I am learning to enjoy (1000yds). Where did I learn to be so quiet behind a rifle? At Appleseed!
