Palm Bay, FL Oct 9-10, 2021 AAR

It was a beautiful weekend. Both weather and students presented their best behavior. We had several beginner students who very quickly adopted the skills and were shooting Sharpshooter by Sunday afternoon. Kurt 183, Jen 178, Jack 176, and David 196. Zach increased his score from 52 to 102 with irons. Ryan, a junior, worked up to a 110. Amazing progress for first-time students.

Bob turned in a 208. So close! It should be noted that Bob was running a bolt gun. Kelly scored 191 with a rifle she had never seen before. Donnie, after several trips to Palm Bay, finally scored 218 Saturday and returned Sunday to shoot a 222! He's now in the bubble. Huzzah! Kevin requalified both Saturday and Sunday. He graciously performed perfectly as our model for all the position demos.

Thanks to the dedicated hard-working students and staff for a very successful, safe event. Thanks to our host, the Port Malabar Rifle & Pistol Club for allowing us to occupy the range for the weekend.
