I just arrived back home after a 600 yard prone match at the Vets Shooting Center.  A good day to shoot with variable wind, causing us to spin the windage knob often! Many times, after making the shot after a windage change and hitting the 10 or X ring, the wind would suddenly just stop, causing what should have been a 10, turned into a 9 or worse! Oh well, good training! Only three of us were shooting with a sling today, the others were shooting F Class or even off the bench, but a good time was had by all! For those who haven't visited this range, the 600 yard "E" range is separate from the KD steel range.

I'm looking forward to the next match and also the next Appleseed, hopefully a Winterseed in January!

As usual, if you find yourself in our AO and want to shoot with some old hand Appleseeders, give us a shout, we'll likely saddle up and meet you at the range!

Quinncannon, out.
