Anyone used one of these before?  I'm looking for something with more overtravel and a lighter second stage than the Larue MBT-2S I'm currently using (which is a great trigger, don't get me wrong).

Since it's a advertised as a national match/CMP rifle isn't it limited to an over 4 pound trigger pull?  I don't own a LaRue but they advertise a 4 1/2 pound 2 stage with the option to bump that up with a heavy spring to 6 pounds.

Not sure you'll get much improvement in anything that sticks to CMP/Service rifle specs.

I don't have any direct experience with the Wisconsin trigger so maybe it's better somehow.  I have a Geissele SSA that is extremely nice and am planning on getting an MBT-2S for a second rifle.  The lower price makes it awfully nice sounding and the more I shoot the less I worry about knocking the last 1/2 pound off a trigger.

Hey Moy - I have that trigger in my "service rifle" AR. I don't have a ton to compare it to, but I like it a lot. The folks up in Wisconsin were extremely responsive when I had an issue (they paid shipping both ways a made a repair no charge). It is set up as a competition 2-stage trigger and mine is about 5 lbs - being two-stage though, it feels very light compared to a typical duty trigger. If you're trying to set up a competition "service rifle", then I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Right I mean a lighter second stage, heavier first stage, for a 4.5lbs total still.  Larue's first stage is 2.5lbs, second stage is 2lbs.  I'd rather have that be like 4 and 0.5.  Or 4 and 1.  Or 4.25 and 0.75, etc.  But yes, still over 4.5lbs for the cmp limit.

Honestly the stage weights I'm more ambivalent about.  The longer overtravel is really what I'm after.

Yes exactly, for cmp high power.  Thanks for the feedback!
