It could have been five degrees cooler to be perfect, but we had an outstanding weekend to begin the New Hampshire Appleseed season. A totally safe shoot, students really applied the lessons and their results showed that they are all fast learners.

Club Wuhan Chinese Flu rules limited us to eight students and two instructors. Seven were a family group which could only attend for Saturday, making it a mostly one-day shoot. With such a small group, everything went so efficiently that we covered everything except long-distance on Saturday. Even better, we had three Riflemen that day (two new and one requal): Huzzahs to Brittany (218), Abby (214) and Jake (226). Two additional Riflemen requalified on Sunday: Huzzahs to Glen (231) and Jacob (223 with Tech-Sights!).

Jacob (forum name still TBD) stepped up to request an Orange Hat, which we will process immediately.

A Shoot Boss couldn't have asked for a better group of students. Thank you all and I hope you bring a bunch of your friends next time. Remember we need to restore our nation, one Appleseeder at a time.

A big thank you to Pioneer Sportsmen for putting together a policy based on guidance from the State of New Hampshire to allow the shoot to happen.  They moved quickly to get events going at the club effective June 1st.  Also, thanks to jmurrayvt for signing up as an IIT and supporting NH.

This group of shooters was fantastic, 2 new riflemen and 3 requalifications, and were a pleasure to work with.  We were even able to recreate a photo from when one of the newly minted riflemen did her first Appleseed a few years ago.  I'm also looking forward to seeing Jacob at the next one with his orange hat.

Appleseed is friend to all, enemy to none

Kudos to Bob and Matt, two of the best instructors I've ever had at an Appleseed event! They made everything flow smoothly and thoroughly explained the events of April 19th, 1775.
Bob was right, weather wise, the day was almost perfect!!! We all had fun, progressed in our shooting proficiency, and learned a LOT about the sacrifices of the colonial men and women made in the midst of their difficult situation! THEIR ACTIONS led to the birth of the greatest nation the world has EVER known!
Thanking Bob and Matt once again for a job well done and an all-around great day!!!

You know what they say....  :pics:   So HERE they are! Pictures from the Saturday shoot.
