Thanks to the shooters coming out and exercising liberty with me. Thanks to the Daniel Boone club for allowing the event at their excellent facility and thanks to Rick for the quick and courteous response helping us deal with the snow.

Weather was as good as can be asked for, almost perfect. 11 degrees to start and I think the high reached 29 but compared to that polar vortex the week before it was nice out. I actually didn't use my jacket most of the day. We had a humble little Appleseed here but had 3 repeat riflemen (Winterseed riflemen now!). Congrats to the and stay the course.

The group was very responsive and courteous and I'm glad to have been a part of this.

It was such a pleasure to gather and share our thoughts and experiences.
Joe does a terrific job of bringing something fresh, every time, encouraging us to keep the fire lit, so that we can continue as is our right.
The improvement in marksmanship was also a big help, especially for the following day's biathlon match.
Many thanks.

Here's another great version of the Three Strikes of The Match:

SIGSauerKraut: that is an excellent looking AQT. Congrats of the Winterseed patch! Have you earned "Distinguished" yet?

I'm looking forward to seeing you in an orange hat one of these days. I'd like to hear you tell one of the Three Strikes.  ;)

Thanks, TK. Earned distinguished on Patriot's Day in Hubertus with a QD-scoped CZ 512. Lots of practice and great instruction & motivation (towards proficiency, not just for a patch). Took the scope off and came back in summer with Magpul Pro irons on it and quallied again.
The two-day in Lodi was a huge help in learning the rhythm and cadence with a bolty. The repeated instructions of the six steps and "not lying to yourself" about NPOA required concentration and thought on Saturday with a scoped CZ Supermatch, but was natural and subconscious on Sunday with a peep on a CZ Trainer. This made using the pre-74 T-Bolt for this clinic less of a challenge and more of an exercise in confidence building under Joe's guidance and encouragement.
You guys really do a great job of keeping the Three Strikes interesting and bringing something new, however small, every time. Can't wait to do it again, after some more detailed study of the Magna Carta.
Don't know if it's been vetted by RWVA, but this gave me a lot of energy to work harder and appreciate our coutry's founders:
