15 pre registered, 3 late cancellations, and 4 no shows, left 8 people on the line on a sunny California day.

We were lucky to have the "June Gloom" present in the morning until about 11am which made it nice.

WE got a slow start with folks trying to get equipment and position issues worked out. Once we got going, groups were shrinking as the instruction was absorbed.

After  lunchtime history, we got back to it, with the wind picked up to 20+ mph gusts.

WE got in 3 AQT's and John K. finally re-qualified Rifleman with a 212. Congrats John!   :---   O0

Kayvan, JUstin, and Bao made Marksman, and are no longer "unqualified" as riflemen... Keep at it, practice what we taught, and you will get there... Come on back and bring a friend.

I met a lot of great people at this event! I hope I inspired you to pass on the History of our country and celebrate our Heritage as a nation of Riflemen...

Special thanks to Dan {Whangdoodle} for making the drive down from Las Vegas, Nevada to help instruct at this event!

The real man smiles in trouble, gathers strength from distress, and grows brave by reflection   Thomas Paine

Proverbs 22:3  -  A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.

"Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even when checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy, nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory or defeat".
Theodore Roosevelt
