Oakdale Gun Club, Winterseed March 25th

We had a nice event on Sunday the latest dump of snow missed us and the access to the range was clear and the temperature was rather pleasant holding in the 20s and 30s (above zero). 
We had 10 shooters register and show, all asserted that they had not been to an Appleseed before, and three instructors, Aftermath, Splithand and yours truly.  A very nice ratio and the event went well with no issues at all, the equipment didn't break down and the shooters made no safety gaffs. We did lose two shooters at noon to family issues, though I expect to see them at the next Appleseed.
The day started out rather auspiciously with one of the shooters cleaning the Redcoat target and several others doing quite well too.  We were able to move through the instruction rather quickly and shot our first AQT shortly after lunch.  Two of the shooters shot Rifleman scores on the first AQT and then proceeded to up their scores on the following AQTs.  A total of five AQTs were fired, four single stage and one rapid fire, we wrapped it up around 5:00.
