Although it was a bit chilly, we had a great weekend at Piru! We were joined by 11 great Americans who showed great determination and it paid off. Our first Rifleman, Dave, posted scores of 227,224,211 for his patch. Alex posted a 216. Ken posted a 210. Congratulations to our newest Riflemen. We even had our two designated snipers post a 224 & a 215. Congratulations to Daniela and Armando our newest Honorary Riflemen. Thanks to Zoanyway and Billy for helping out this weekend! Post your comments and pics here.

I had a great time!   Great instructors, great fellow classmates, great range!  I had some equipment troubles, but other than that, from my perspective it was a perfect weekend.  Thanks to everybody!

This was my first Appleseed, and it was a great experience. The Instructors were great - friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Everything went better than expected (despite not making Rifleman on my first trip) and I intend to come back again this year and bring another newbie. Fellow attendees were also a really good group of people.

Wish I would have taken some pictures, but I was so into the event I didn't touch my phone the entire weekend!

Thank you to Bob, Zo, and Billy for the great instruction and history lessons. Thanks to Dave for the cool emblems, and special thanks to Tom for letting me shoot the Garand!
