It was a wonderful weekend and much fun was had by all. (Critterkeeper is helping me break my writers block)  We had a wonderful group of enthusiastic new shooters. One new rifleman was made - with a perfect 210 score  ;D - and everyone else coming along close behind!

Somehow, we managed to cram in all the wonderful benefits of Lapeer... Banging steel at 200yd. Enjoying the benefits of a roof for shelter from heavy rain... and from hot sun (Michigan weather #) ) And, of course, Lapeers own Dangerous Old Man: Roundballer with his 'Bess!

Jeff, great shooting and congrats on the patch! Sid & Sean, awesome seeing such a father-son team. Both with iron sights! Looking forward to seeing you back! Mark, your shooting is impressive, going from not having fired a rifle on Sat AM to hitting steel with an M1 on Sunday afternoon! Dee & Duane, so glad you could make it out! A little change of pace from smallbore, but I think both skills benefit from a bit of "cross-training".

And, of course, a great thank you to the crew (in order of appearance): Critterkeeper, BlueSteel, number 6 and Roundballer. Thanks for all your efforts this weekend!
