On April 30 - May 1, we will hold a Known Distance event at Palo Alto Rifle and Pistol Club in Donaldsonville. If you have attended an Appleseed event previously and are ready to try shooting out to 300 yards, this is your opportunity. (You don't have to be a Rifleman, but this is not an event for beginners - contact me if you aren't sure you are ready.) We will cover Target Detection, Range Estimation, trajectories, Battle Sight Zero, come-ups, etc. This is the time to improve your skill with a centerfire rifle. (If you don't have a suitable rifle, contact me - we may have one you can use.)
