It was a cool weekend - cool on Saturday and downright cold by Sunday afternoon. Oneshot_onehole, Brass Bucket and I worked this event.

We had a wonderful time with 5 dedicated students. For one, this was his third Appleseed and he wants to come back again! For everyone else it was their first exposure.  The students listened well and worked hard at applying themselves. We saw tremendous gains in their marksmanship skills and rapt attention to the heritage.

One student shot a rifleman score and then she had a better score on another AQT despite knocking off 15 points for a neighbor's errant shots!

This was a fun group. One starting calling his friends on his way home to get them to an Appleseed. He has a group of 20 that all went shooting together. He followed up today and we'll work on getting an event planned for them.

It was a fantastic event!  So happy we went. Can't wait to go to my next one.  Looking forward to bring many more people with me!
