Yet another amazing group of people have come through the Manheim, PA Appleseed event,  13 in all including 10 new to the Appleseed experience.  I believe each of the newcomers promised to come back, and I'm holding you to it!

Despite the nasty wind blowing targets, chairs, mats and whatever wasn't staked down all over the place, we turned out 2 new Riflemen and 1 new PA 1st Rifle (a clean Redcoat if you're not from PA :-)

First up was Ken from Bay 1, who was knockin' on the Rifleman door for a couple QDAQTs and then kicked it off the hinges with a solid 225.

Not to be outdone, Shannon stepped up to represent Bay 2 with a solid 227.

Score 1-1, the tie breaker in OT came by way of Sara, cleaning a redcoat earning the PA 1st Rifles Patch.

Congrats guys!  ...errr, guy and gals!  Nice job :-)

Though we turned out only 2 Riflemen, over half the class was within easy striking distance with many scoring pretty consistently over 200, but not quite 210.  Dry fire at home and when we see you again I'll wager we be handing you Rifleman patches Saturday eve!  If it were easy to do it wouldn't be worth doing :-)

I hope to see each of ya back again!  Pics to follow.

Dry fire target.  The is the QDAQT on a single 8.5x11 sheet.  Print out in wallet size (3x3 or 9 to a sheet) and post about 10 feet away.  Dry fire 10 minutes a day, a few days a week.  And as if it has to be said, triple check that there is no ammo in your rifle, in your mags or even in the room!  It's free and it works!
