Columbia Falls, MT Oct 11-12

A bit of a drizzle Saturday only lent a bit more of autumn to another fine October shoot at the beautiful Columbia Falls shooting range...which we were able to shoot from under cover Saturday and out in the sunshine on Sunday.  An enthusiastic crop of shooters turned out and displayed remarkable improvement in their accuracy and skill; all in all a very coachable group!  We even had a last minute walk on shooter come out to her first Appleseed, with no prior experience shooting rifles, and earn her Rifle-WOMAN patch with ascore of 211 late Sunday afternoon.  Congrats Bailey!  All shooters made great gains, with two others posting scores in the high 190's and low 200's.  Hang in there guys, remember, "...what we obtain to easily, we esteem to lightly..."

Enthusiasm and conversation surrounded the history presentation, and all left with greater appreciation for the sacrifice and choices of the founding generation. 

Thanks to all the shooters, and to Sean who advanced a little farther along the path to Instructor.  Here's hoping Dolan and Ann-Marie can get us set up for a shoot in Missoula next year!
