What an amazing weekend in the Texas Hill Country!  The weather was great, and so were the shooters.  We had a total of 22 people on our firing line, with a good mix of ages.  I am always happy to see the younger ones out there.  Talk about grit!  We saw some real determination there, and plenty of enthusiasm.  All across the line we saw lots of improvement in marksmanship.  Three among the group showed that they know what they are about, and earned their rifleman's patches.  Cobi (215), David J. (228), and Dagan (210) are the new riflemen from our shoot in FBG, TX.  Many of the others are right on the cusp, so keep up the dry firing!

I'd like to thank our crew.  We had a lot of people turn up, and it makes things better with so many capable volunteers.  The regular FBG crew of Mark, Jerry, Jeremy, Don, and Ron were dependable and cheerful as always.  Sunni and Tonya put their blue hats to work.  Carl made it out again, and we were glad for it.  Scuzzy must not have been busy enough with all the other things he's doing, and he lent a hand this weekend too!  The surprise was Mike, who just happened to drop by from Alaska!  After the jokes about how much bigger Alaska is than Texas faded away, Mike got down to work and shared a lot of good insight.
