Our Project Appleseed (PAS) Event September 6-7 2014 - Many thanks to the Matamoras Rod and Gun Club members who welcomed PAS to these beautiful and organized grounds, with special thanks to Mr. Gallagher [MRGC RSO] for his support of and attendance at this event. Five shooters progressed through the rigorous course despite the September heat and closed within a "flyer" or two of a Rifleman score; our last Redcoat COF eluded four shooters by one round each - a tremendous improvement. This was an absolutely great group with strong "gun safety" attitudes. I was also impressed with their knowledge of Revolutionary War history, armament, and colonial monetary information. Congratulations to Evan Barry, our newest First PA Rifleman and Congratulations to "A-Team" Bob and Laura - winners of the "Great Tie Breaker Shootout." Our next event at MRGC will be on October 4th, 2014 - our first LADYSEED. Hope to see you there!
