We had another great weekend at Proctor Fish and Game Club for our latest shoot. Well, great except for the weather on Saturday. Other than that it was

awesome! Crew was roadrunner (SB) and MPH_Vt (IT). Saturday saw steady rain all day long ranging from a drizzle to a downpour but Sunday was sunny

with very mild temps. The five shooters on the line Craig, Paul, Mike, Rich, and Nancy all did well and showed steady improvement and perseverance even

through bad conditions on Saturday. Craig made the remark that he is a believer in NPOA after he shot some really nice groups with fogged up glasses!

Like we say "once you have your NPOA, trust it!". Paul shot three Rifleman scores with his AR-15. Outstanding job. Oh, and he took the orange hat!

We have ourselves a new orange hat in the Green Mountain State!!

Mike, Craig, Rich and Nancy, keep working hard and work at dry firing and I know you can get that Rifleman score also.

Thanks to everyone for coming to Proctor and hope to see you all next time. Thanks to MPH_Vt for not letting health problems and automotive issues

stand in the way of teaching fine Americans marksmanship and April 19th history. Huzzah!
The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing.

I've been ever so remiss doing my part in the AARs the last few times out, trying to get my head clear and write coherently; I'm going to just pop up and say something now, to get it done.

Very nice shoot, not that the shoots in Proctor aren't always nice.

We saw some very impressive marksmanship from our new shooters. I was awed by the consistency of groups and the steady progress as the weekend went on.

We were definitely pestered by the weather on Saturday, but this group were steadfast and persevering in the best Appleseed form.

Only one Rifleman this weekend from Paul, a returning shooter, but the shooters acquired groundwork for marksmanship by the end of the weekend, many pushing up close to the mark. I see all returning to make that mark.

Good work all.
