Now this was one to remember from the heat to the storms to the mud and everything in between. We ended up with 9 shooters throughout the weekend and it was a trying weekend for sure. I want to thank everyone for coming out and learning about marksmanship, our heritage and Appleseed. I have to say Mary and Lisa made some of the best improvement I have ever seen in the amount of time they shot. Congratulations ladies you did great! Aaron I wish you could have made it back on Sunday but I understand. Shannon and Ken get the persistence award for the weekend for sure, you guys would not quit. Jeff, Jason, Mark and John a little cooler weather will make it more bearable but I was glad to get to spend the weekend with you all.
Jeff, Thank you for inviting Sheriff Denny Peyman to come speak Saturday evening. He did a great job and I really enjoyed his company over the weekend, he gets it. Next time though he will be shooting as will Steven.

I hope there are some pictures out there, feel free to post them.

It was invigorating!
Sheriff Peyman was inspiring. I found myself wanting to go to law school after his speech.  I don't know what got into me.

Looks like it went well. Hope schedules work out so I can be at the next one.

Didnt even know this forum existed! Thanks for the link Kevin.

Wish I could have stayed too, despite the rain. Looks like a couple hard rocks stuck it out! Cant wait for the next event now.

A huge thanks to everyone involved.

OK, let me try these pics again.  I meant to have one of Sheriff Peyman with all of us...

Looking forward to seeing everyone back at another Appleseed with at least one new person in tow.
