Its great to get Ohio started on a great 2014.  First shoot of the year, looking forward to the AAR for the our first shoot which was "sold out".

After trudging through the aftermath of that mud I can only imagine what y'all went through on Saturday morning.

Hey, slim  -:)  Saturday morning was wet, then it didn't get any better!

Never experienced an entire day in the rain...and more rain, then freezing rain.  Did I mention the rain?

We had a full line of shooters signed up, in fact, a few more than the range could hold.  We had the target line strung up and things ready to go at 8 when we expected the shooters.  As they rolled in, so did the rain.  The more we moved along, the more the rain came down.  Indeed, the foul weather had an impact on the opening of the Ohio Appleseed season, both for the shooters and their equipment, especially those who stuck it out for the entire duration!  Lots of issues!

Sunday morning Longrifleman brought in a load of straw, and DirtDawg brought some geo something textile fabric and we covered the areas at the firing line and equipment line so we could get some stable footing!!!
