Here's how I commemorated 9-11

Long lunch break and a quick trip out to smack AR500 at 200M with the WOA AR.  It was the most Amuricun thing I could think to do.

Yup, that's the one.

Lowest group on the right target is the rifle cold out of the case.  Made sight adjustments that produced the middle group on the right and the lowest group on the left.  All this was from the bench.  Then went prone and shot the top groups on both targets.  Interesting how the POI changed from bench to prone.

What sling is that? Brownells 1907?

Looks like a black version of the synthetic Turners 1907 sling.

Turners synthetic from CMP North Store.  The only way to roll if you want a 1907 that doesn't stretch or rot.

Difference in eye relief between prone and bench causes a change in your perception of the position of front sight in the aperture? Just a theory. Are you a nose to charging handle shooter?

Or change in cheek-weld effects rifle attitude during the initial stages of recoil?
