Big thanks to Heartland Public Shooting Park for hosting another successful Appleseed! They have a wonderful facility. It is very encouraging to see a city like Grand Island create a recreational park to encourage shooting sports! Just awesome! If you have not been there I suggest you go and check them out. They have been very supportive of the Appleseed program over the past 4 years.

The weekend was HOT to say the least. Everyone seemed to still enjoy the weekend. Our shooters ranged from very experienced to brand new to shooting. All showed massive improvement. We even had a rifleman score shot with a bolt action rifle with a zip tied sling. WOW! The guy was a machine!

All in all we had a great weekend in Grand Island. I hope to see all of these shooters at a future Appleseed, with friends!
