Old Glory!

The MISSION: APRIL 19, 1775!  To Remember.  To Honor.  To Awaken more fine Americans.  To help develop the Rifleman in them.

Housekeeping:  As we approach Appleseeds's (6th?) Patriot's Day weekend, the registrations have increased.

Also, there have been some cancellations; some transfers.

Events that were sold out, now have openings.

Capacities have been adjusted to account for membership purchased.

Check your local registration page.  There may now be room for more and there is still one more day to pre-register on line.

Something for shoot bosses and check-in folks to remember is: because of the volume of e-mail requests for transfers to another location and a limited supply of volunteers to make the transfer happen, we have been instructing them to sign up in the free/military category, and then take a copy of their e-mail to prove why they signed up in the free category.   You will no doubt see some of that.

Feel free to add to this thread.....you know - your 2 cents worth...

I'm PUMPED!  Haven't been to an Appleseed since.............. :P
"My primary objective is to change hearts and minds, for that is where the gaping hole in the hull of the USS America lies. I am looking to make a spark and praying that it will ignite, by their own will, into a bonfire in their hearts and souls."  PHenry

"Folks, this Appleseed thing doesn't work if we get a patch and go home. It doesn't work if we shoot a Rifleman score and remember the good times we had out on the range. It only works if we take that 7th Step and spread the 'seed. HUZZAH!!!"  Slim

April 18-19, 2009  "The seeds of rifle marksmanship were sown in good ground.  In the end, then, every attendee walked away as an instructor for their friends, family, coworkers.  May you tend your patch in Liberty's garden well and through a long life."  Francis Marion
