Hi All,

Ruger is having a constest for everyone that participated in the Million Gun Challenge.

Flooding them with Appleseed Pictures and stories may send a good message to Ruger and what a better promotional item for them than a young shooter or two carrying on the Tradition in a picture holding a RUGER LTR.  :---

Share YOUR 1 Million Gun Challenge story. Explain in 400 words or less why you purchased a new Ruger® firearm during the 1 Million Gun Challenge and submit a photo of you with your new Ruger firearm.

We'll select eight finalists, then America will vote for their favorite story. All eight Finalists will win their choice of a Ruger Gunsite Scout Rifle or Ruger SR1911™! The grand prize winner will win a trip to the 141st NRA Annual Meeting in St. Louis, Missouri April 13-15, 2012 for the opportunity to make history and present the final 1 Million Gun Challenge check, along with Ruger, to NRA Executive Vice President, Wayne LaPierre.

Entries are due by noon EST on March 6, and voting for the eight finalists will begin on March 16.

Last evening, it occurred to me that when a defender of Liberty is called home, their load lands upon the shoulders of the defenders left behind. Just as the Founders did their duty for Liberty, every subsequent generation must continue their work lest Liberty perish. As there is no way for the remaining adults to take on the work of those that die, we must pass the ideals and duties on to the children. -PHenery
