What a fantastic shoot!! Shooters were so eager to learn from the moment they drove onto the range!! They were sponges soaking up everything the Appleseed fire hose could throw at them! The majority of the line first time rifle shooters-- how cool is that!!

Thank you to the Frontier Sportsman: Fountain Range for hosting Appleseed events. Amazing ranges and the folks are very supporting of Appleseed--Thank you all!!

A heartfelt thank you to all the shooters who came out and gave up their weekend to brave the Colorado heat and wind to learn marksmanship, but really soak up the heritage and history of this country!!

Congratulations Bill for achieving that RIFLEMAN score and earning your patch with a 221 only to back it up with a 211!! Fantastic shooting all weekend, so many AQT's between 199-209. I wasn' t sure we would get you over that 209 hump--but persist you did.  Is there an orange hat in your future ::) Thank you fro your 7th stepping efforts-- "One man awake!"

John, what an amazing person you are!! You took all of our ribbing in great stride. Wasn' t it amazing how your scores improved when you were not sharing a target with Ed ^-^ You showed great improvement throughout the weekend. I hope that you can make it back to an Appleseed again real soon.

Sharon, yes you can shoot like a girl ;) You are knocking on that RIFLEMAN door. Congratulations scoring your personal best 190, keep up the good work!

Ed, how you persisted and knocking oh so close consistently in the 200's---have you settled the score with John yet ::) hehe. The RIFLRMAN patch is in your future for sure and will come. You and Sharon are a great couple and your family is such a pleasure to share time. Thank you both for coming out and bringing friends and family along!

Ted, what a great learning attitude and persistent determination!! You scores showed improvement all weekend and you were consistent all along. Hone those skills and dry practice at home...the RIFLEMAN' s patch is in your near future!!

Karen, last but definitely not least in the Mann family, you were such a kind soul to work with this weekend!! You showed persistence and perseverance and your scores improved as the weekend progressed. As, a first time rifle shooter---wow! Your groups were amazing right out of the starting gate. Practice those position along with NPOA shifts, you will have that RIFLEMAN patch in no time---Yes, you can definitely shoot like a girl! ;) Maybe we will cross paths in Eureka in the future!!

Trish and Christine we sure did miss you on Sunday!! I hope we did not wear you out too much Saturday. As novice rifle shooters you guys were rockin'!! It is always great to have families on the line together and having a mother/ daughter duo----woohoo ^:)^  You both had good groupings and showed grat improvement by day' s end!! I hope you are able to make it back to another Appleseed soon. It was a pleasure working with each of you!!

Dutch (aka Steve)You sir, are a joy to be around!! I hope we did not wear out your knees and recovery was quick Sunday evening!! Great shooting this weekend, you showed continuous improvement. those stock Ruger sights are a bugger to dial in-- a change in optics might be a good idea. You were rockin' that .30 carbine though and dialed in pretty darn good! I hope that our paths will cross again in the future. I will also remember Pippin!!

Margarete and Dennis, I apologize for the confusion in directions that you received, but you both picked up the instructions quickly and caught up with the rest of the group no problem! You were both doing very well and I am sure that when health allows we will see you on the Appleseed line again. Take care of each other, it was a true pleasure meeting you both!!

A huge thank you to the fantastic Colorado instructor cadre, you guys are simply amazing. It was a pleasure working with you!! I thank you for taking care of all of the range set up and tear down plus anything in between. Thank you to Prone to Knit and One Shot One Hole for making the SB job easy!! Thank you to Goldfish for enduring the 21 hour drive and assisting me with yet another 'Appleseed on the road'

It was a pleasure and an honor to work with a fantastic group of American Patriots this weekend!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart, you will each hold a place forever!!

Love to each of you...

What a fantastic shoot says it all!   It was a privilege to meet and work with Ratchett and Goldfish. It was a great group of shooters for sure, real patriots one and all.  I apologize again for not being able to set up the awning but everyone persevered through the hot sun.

I met the lady of the neighboring ranch while driving in from the first gate. She wants to attend one of our shoots!
We had a great group of students for this shoot, both new and experienced, and I'm sure we'll see many of them again.
