Douglas in August is a little warmer than in April!   We had 6 shooters show up on Saturday ranging in age from 11 to 69.  2 more on Sunday.  One gent had to shoot from the bench, as he was on oxygen.  Kudos to him for pluck and persistence.  Of the six, two were women, four used rimfires (10/22s and one Marlin); the centrefire shooters were using a Garand and an M1A.  Although none made Rifleman, two came close and there was great improvement.. 
We fired 25m AQTs Saturday and Sunday morning then took advantage of the 100-600m range Sunday afternoon.  We utilised the gongs rather than paper because of time constraints.  It was great watching 11 year old Shannon firing her Dad's AR for the first time and consistently hitting.  The sound of the gongs being hit was very satisfying.
