East Providence, RI, May 21, 2011! Rhode Island's First Appleseed!

What a fantastic shoot event, which it would be if only because of what it was:  The first ever Appleseed in Rhose Island!  The Massasoit Gun Club was a great host.  It allowed us to use a fine facility, took good care of us, and someone even went out to pick up sandwiches for those of us that hand not brought lunch, lucky for me.  Three IITs from Rhose Island showed up and did a lot of the instruction. MattNES, noelephant and davidgw1.  And, there now is a Rifleman that is both from Rhose Island and shot his first Rifleman's score in Rhode Island.  Appleseed has been to Rhode Island, and, yesterday, it showed it had a future in Rhode Island.  That is fantastic! 

The list of states that have not hosted an Appleseed is shorter and Rhode Island is not on it. 

Congrats to all our new Rifleman. Thanks to the Massasoit Gun Club, and to all who helped out.

A small start for the smallest State - but just as the mighty oak grows from the tiny acorn - so too will RI Appleseed grow!

Great to see the 1st ever RI Rifleman, great job by RI's 3 IITs!

Good job, everyone - wish I could have been there for the Rhode Island lift-off. Sounds like we've got a great future in Little Rhodey, and a great partner too.
