OK fellas. My name is Jeremiah. My daughter is the one who asminuteman is describing who shot that .223 AR all weekend.
I must say that this was our first Project Appleseed event to attend,I AM IMPRESSED by these three guys,My hat is off to You guys and Your passion, dedication and professionalism. The instruction was top notch, the knowledge of the instructors was up there too.It was greatly reminiscent of My time in the USMC and CARNG.(and I'm not talking about any kinda hollering)I'm talking about quality instruction.

I've always said that it's hard to teach Your own family,so We attended this weekends event. Now My Daughter has a renewed passion for the shooting sport. My Son and I compete 3 weekends a month, now My Daughter may very well end up on our shooting team too!
Thanks again asminuteman  Desert Dog and Cal 7.62

Tarvarno

Hi gents,

Howard here. I'm the fellow who shot the Marlin levergun. This was my first appleseed shoot, though my friend (10/22 with the black synthetic stock) and I only attended the second day, and it was splendid! The instruction was helpful, the program of instruction well-ordered and profitable, the people good-natured, and the whole show run very professionally. Safety protocols were closely observed at all times. It was highly refreshing to be around folks with an appreciation for American history, too. The stories told were interesting, and new to me.

My hat's off to you folks, this newbie will be back.

Thanks for starting the AAR Minuteman!  You saved out bacon by making the drive.  Your handle is definitely appropriate ;D When 6 pre reg turn into 17, there is some scrambling to be done.  It would have been tough without you there.

Day 2 had 6 returnees scheduled and we ended up with 11.  I want to give a BIG thank you to Desert Rat for volunteering to help clear the line, I look forward to seeing you at future shoots.  Thank you for the compliment as well.  I could tell right away that you are a serious shooter, those kind of compliments mean a lot to me.

Tarvarno, you and Elijah are more than welcome.  It was a pleasure having you, I want to say that I appreciate your understanding and following our procedures so quickly.  This allowed me to get back to instructing other shooters as well.

Sleeps in Prone shot a 208 on the 2nd to last AQT :(.  You'll get it soon my friend.

Last but not least, the range owner, Dave, is awesome.  It's one thing to have range owners let us shoot, it's another when they understand that we are not just another marksmanship clinic.  Guys like him, Mike Thompson, Ron Frey, featherblue and several others I'm sure, really miotivate me.  When I took the range fees to him, he gave back about 25% of them as a donation

Here are the Redcoat scores.

DesertRat, I'm overwhelmed by the positive feedback!

But all Kudos go to your daughter! that's one "bright" young woman!....and she worked hard this weekend.
even though at times struggling to apply unfamiliar concepts, she would not quit! O0
you have every right to be proud of her!  a future team mate you may have found! :~

I can say it over and over, but coming from you it will have a different meaning....(Dad) @)
She's great! :D

Well, gotta say guys, it appears you had a great shoot!!
Lots of good responses, and some solid citizens finding out that AS is out here in Cali......

And yep, having 3 on 17 may seem a bit intimidating, but as you know, very workable, especially when the group -gets it-!! ^:)^

Looking forward to working with you all again in the future, and hopefully being able to get a bit more North than I have been lately.....

ASM, I hope you were kind to any shooters that left their M1 brass laying around for you to pick up..... O0 ;D
Let 'em know it's going to a good cause!! 8) @)

Well done, folks....it looks like everybody got a good "take home" from this one...and we have more coming up, too!!
