What a great weekend-you could not ask for better weather to shot recoats on this historic weekend. We had 13 shooters on Saturday-an appropriate number to recall the shot heard 'round the world. We had one family of three with no rifles, ammo, or equipment, but they had the heart. We got them supplied and on the line. Several other shooters had very little experience, but we drilled safety into them and everything went off without at hitch. No riflemen this time, but everyone had a great time and want to come back for another Appleseed.

Sunday saw only two shooters return-Sarah and Emily. We did have three walk-on shooters though. The range asked us to switch lines so we wouldn't use up 25 spot with five shooters. That caused a little longer than normal lunch break, but then we got back to the job at hand. Scott shot a 196-an excellent showing for the first day of his first Appleseed.
