Strong winds (even for the Texas Panhandle!) Saturday were replaced by a beautiful Sunday as 12 Appleseeders began their Rifleman journey.  They learned History, Heritage, and rifle marksmanship and persevered for two fun-filled (well, maybe intense is a better word) days persevering with slings, failures to feed, saved rounds, and all the other tasks a Rifleman needs to learn to cope with.

Here's the Sunday noon group photo:

and congratulations to new Rifleman Trevor:

and Rifleman Michael:

From Sunday morning's review: "What are the Steady Hold Factors for the prone position?"  Appleseeder Dylan shows excellent form.

and if you've forgotten, the target line viewed from 25 yards:

and from 100 yards:

"Your preparation period begins now!"  The line getting ready to shoot at the Stage 1 targets at 100 yards, which turned out to be a whole lot more fun than they originally thought.

Many thanks to IIT rnav8r for the photographs.
