This year, the US Army Best Ranger Competition paid tribute to out heritage!

"This year's mystery challenges included loading and shooting a flintlock Kentucky long rifle and pistol along along with throwing a tomahawk axe at a target; a Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape event; and then a third event that paid tribute to Paul Revere, who warned colonists in 1775 that British troops were coming, in which the teams had to find hints to escape from three conex boxes, Petty said."

Nice to see our nations' oldest military branch remembers. I remember being a young Sergeant and assigned to the color guard at Fort Bragg. The Command Sergeant Major schooled me on the duties of carrying the Army Flag. Ensure the oldest and newest battle streamers are visible. The oldest, of course, is LEXINGTON 1775.
