Rochester, MN AAR - Sept 20-21, 2025 - Pistol Clinic

Southern Minnesota Sportsman's Club hosted a two-day Pistol Clinic on September 20-21, 2025.  We had great weather to go along with a great group of enthusiastic participants.  We had a good mix of strong pistol shooters and new pistol participants.  It was an awesome weekend spent learning to shoot a pistol accurately and with speed.

We had a returning family of Appleseeders trying the Pistol event for the first time and I think they were hooked.  Jared earned Pistoleer™ and both Micah and Jenelle improved in speed and accuracy.

Cody and Jared worked hard all weekend improving their groups and working through issues.

Scott and Mike - our host range members did excellent with Mike scoring Pistoleer™ and practicing with multiple pistols.  Mike also shot multiple 239s trying to get that distinguished patch.

Tony shot another Pistoleer™ score and was helpful all weekend long. 

Well done to all.

Thanks also to Steenbeen for the awesome Line Boss job and congratulations on shooting distinguished.  The smile and belly laugh after shooting Mike's Taurus still makes me smile.
