Patriots—circle up!

What a weekend at Ben Avery Shooting Facility in Phoenix. The weather showed off, the smiles were contagious, and we filled the firing line with energy and determination. Huge thanks to Ben Avery for hosting us—we truly couldn't do what we do without your support. And to every shooter and family who joined us: thank you for spending your weekend learning, improving, and honoring our shared American heritage.

Weekend Highlights

Great turnout: 19 registered, 15 on the line—including 5 youth. We even welcomed a guest who traveled from Eastern Europe just to experience American-style freedom with us.



Big strides in marksmanship: By Saturday afternoon, most shooters were printing 6–10 MOA groups; by Sunday, the line was largely in the 4–6 MOA range. It was one of the strongest average improvement curves we've seen—fantastic work staying coachable and focused.

Amazing young shooters: Remarkable young shooters lit up the line—focused, coachable, and steady under pressure. Their attitudes set the tone for the whole crew and reminded us why we do this. Simply outstanding work.



Milestones earned: 4 Redcoat clears across the weekend and 1 new Rifleman patch—well deserved! A special shout-out to a brand-new shooter (about ten rounds of lifetime experience before this weekend) who cleared a Redcoat on Saturday afternoon. That's the spirit.



Volunteer power: Blue Hat Agent3006 stepped up in a big way, serving as AC/RSO and keeping the line running smoothly—thank you!

To the entire crew of shooters: your questions, your discipline on the line, and your hunger to learn made this event a joy to run. Keep practicing the fundamentals you picked up here, and bring a friend next time—Arizona's lines are wide open, and we'd love to see you back at Ben Avery.
