Excellent weather was had for the annual Patriots' Day celebration 2 Day 25m Appleseed clinic at the long-time Appleseed range of Redbrush Rifle Range in Evansville, Indiana. We began early in the morning and addressed the Hits Count target after the opening, First Strike, and safety instruction. Our results showed the students were ready and eager for instruction.

That instruction was given until lunch, where we had the Second Strike. After lunch, the targets showed primed and ready for IMC, which some shooters nailed right on the first adjustment. The students then learned the other positions and did an AQT in the process. Josh requalified right out of the gate with a 212.

The afternoon hits count target showed massive improvement and proves that this stuff works.

On Sunday, the hits count morning target showed even more improvement, which proves that sleep also works. Josh cleared the Hits Count and was recognized. After some history and a marksmanship review, we were off to the AQTs. Greg immediately requalified, and Josh kept bringing in Rifleman scores.

After lunch and a KD lecture where the shootboss put one student completely asleep, more AQTs were had. David had scores in the 200s, Don had a late rally right to 200, and Josh ended on a shoot high score of 224. We then did the Parker's Revenge group activity which was very well received and went into the somber memorial volley of Patriot's Day. The students were appreciative and mindful of the moment. We then finished with a KD exercise, and a closing Hits count. The range was properly broken down and all went home happy, safe, and educated.

Several students were interested in returning to future shoots and Redbrush event schedules were shared, including the October KD.

Great shoot, everyone. Remember, we have a KD shoot on October where we will get to shoot out to 500 yards.

Many thanks! I had a great time. Really thankful for your instruction and stories. Hoping to go to the KD event in October. Apparently, Luke is extra hungry for a Rifleman patch.
