Bench Rest Rifle Club opened their Appleseed season this weekend in Wright City, MO. A special shout out and welcome to our new, yet seasoned instructor, Myrradah, to the Missouri instructor crew!

On Saturday, we had a total of 19 shooters. The weather was cloudy and chilly, but dry! Saturday morning started out with the first strike and a Hits Counts target, followed by several drills, strikes two and three, and two AQTs.
Saturday's AQTs produced four Rilemen: David (214), Kyle (214), Matt (219), and Mark (222).

On Sunday, our number of shooters reduced to 10 as we were greeted with colder and wetter weather. We had 4 total hours of rain on Sunday, but the shooters persisted! Despite the rain, we were able to shoot 4 more AQTs, ball and dummy drill, Parker's Revenge, and the solemn Memorial Volley of April 19th's fallen patriots.

Sunday's AQTs produced 2 more Riflemen: Allison (211) and Craig (215).

Honorable mention to some of our instructors that also requalified: Suitcase (243, distinguished), P51 Mustang (212), and Myrradah (210).

We learned of William Heath's call to liberty and the impact he made on our country.

This weekend, one great group of shooters honored and remembered the events of April 19th, 1775 on its 250th anniversary. Huzzah!

Pictures to follow soon!

It was a great weekend!
Parker's Revenge was a great team target!  We had Team Soggy Shooters vs. Team Sharp Shooters.
