Chattanooga, TN 25m rifle clinic, April 5-6, 2025

[Maximum effort]

The unpredictable early April weather in the TN valley did not disappoint this year. Despite strong winds on Saturday, and rains delivering a mucky mess on Sunday, we had 19 shooters show up to celebrate our Patriot's Day celebration!
Cleveland delivered a strong First Strike on Sat morning, and then we were off to chase the canopies and deliver marksmanship instruction between gusts of wind.
We had a great group shooters, and all were very attentive and safe. The Dude delivered our Second Strike at lunch and offered great insight into the sacrifices paid by our forefathers. Army Vet did a great job leading us through the steps of IMC, and we had the great privilege of having TN Hangfire, Wiley Coyote, and Tellico all help instruct, and keep the entire event moving along safely.

We had two shooters shoot a Rifleman's score, and I know we'll see many return to continue their Journey to Rifleman!!

Special thanks to all those who helped with the hard work of expanding the Creek's Edge Farm into a 20 shooter range capacity. The range looks awesome! Extra special thanks the the range owners Eddie and Cristin, for being so accommodating, and for coming by to say hello to our shooters.

We're looking forward to having all our youth back out on the line to continue their journey to Rifleman!

Devon also scored Rifleman on Saturday, and received his award the following day in a much drier setting than we found outside.
