Alrighty my Fellow Freedom Loving Texans,

  Today marks the day Colonel William B. Travis, General Jim Bowie and Davy Crockett and ~200 other brave souls gave their lives honoring their promise of "Victory or Death".  They put up a fight for 13 long days before being overwhelmed by General Santa Anna's men at the siege of The Alamo.  Their bravery and sacrifice helped solidify Texian opposition to the tyrannical rule of a Mexican government.  A government which falsely imprisoned its citizens, unjustly took military action upon innocent people and who tried to rule with the edge of a sword. 

  Make sure today you honor their memory by being the best Texan you can be!
