I'm pleased to announce that we have a new host range in Western NC! Virtue of Defense Tactical in Old Fort, NC, has welcomed us for two upcoming 25m rifle clinics on July 26-27 and November 1-2. The owner of the range was very generous with his time to show me around, and he offered free primitive camping onsite for Appleseeders during the shoots. He also refused to accept a range fee, stating that he wanted to give something back and support our nonprofit mission.

I would love to fill the line for this first event at the end of July. If you are able to come initiate this range for Project Appleseed as a shooter or an instructor, please sign up! If you can't make it then spread the word to friends and family in the area. Virtue of Defense Tactical is  7 miles off of I-40 halfway between Black Mountain and Marion. It's about 35 minutes east of Asheville.
