Demo rifle

As a gunsmith, I end up with a variety of "discarded" parts that customers don't want.

So, take 1 new red hat, 1 green hat genius that can 3D print, and add some eBay parts, and you get a neat demo rifle that can have a magazine inserted, but it will never be able to fire!

Understand, this should still be treated as a firearm. A "non-Appleseed" RSO will not know that this is a "dummy" or "demo" rifle. So, let's review the 4 safety rules:
1. Always keep the muzzle in a safe direction.
2. Do not load until given the load command.
3. Keep your finger off the trigger until the sights are on the target.
4. Make sure those around you follow the safety rules.

Now, the pics!

It has a "clicker" trigger from eBay, as well as the magazine release from the same place. It's a standard 10/22 barrel and stock, and a dummy receiver. The receiver is not able to be milled, drilled, or finished in any way that will allow it to be a firearm. It is actually missing about 20% of the body, so it can't take an actual 10/22 trigger group. This is not an 80% receiver that is unfinished! It is physically impossible to make this an actual firearm. However, it is a heck of a demo rifle!!

I'm the one selling the 'clicky triggers' on eBay, and I give a discount to 'seeders who contact me directly via this site. (There's also a working mag well that is that piece alone, rather than a full fake receiver/barrel, if anyone prefers such a built.)

I make the clicky triggers in versions for 10/22, R700 and M1/M1A/M14 stocks, but the fake magwell only for 10/22s.

Also, nice one!

Yup, I got your working mag well, and just modified the whole thing. However, I started with a normal 10/22, and your parts. They worked very well!
