Rochester, MN AAR - Feb 1-2, 2025

This weekend we had five participants come out to Southern Minnesota Sportsmen Club in Rochester MN to work on their marksmanship and learn more about our great shared heritage.  All five earned or re-qualified to earn themselves and icicle patch.  Saturday's temperature started at a balmy 24 degrees and rose to an impressive 30 with winds in the teen and lower 20's.  Sunday's temperature got down right warm with a start at around 28 and topped out at 43.

Regardless of the weather the participants came to learn and improve on their marksmanship and encourage their civic duties by remembering the sacrifices and courage our founding fathers demonstrated.  All in all, it was an awesome weekend to be Appleseeding.

In addition to thanking the host range, I want to thank the attendees:
Mike - top score of 217to requalify with a hits count clear as well
Steve - accepting an orange hat, shooting great all weekend with multiple rifleman scores the top being a 245!!!  Also managed to clear the hits count.
David - first event - shot a rifleman score on his second AQT ever and then proceeded to consistently shoot rifleman scores after that,
Josh - was able to manage a best score of 223 to requalify.
and finally Lucas - awesome to be around, salt of the earth type person - managed to requalify with a 220.

Awesome marksmanship skills showed by all.

And I'd be very remiss if I didn't thank the wonderful instructors TheDestroyer and Burnett.  Thank you for keeping this SB on track and making it a fun and safe event.

Thanks for a fun weekend everyone!  It was great meeting all of you.  Looking forward to seeing you all at more events in the future and learning to tell some of these great stories!
