Special thanks to the Southern Lancaster County Farmers Sportsmen's Assn. for hosting us yet again.  They were very helpful in all aspects of getting ready for two days of an Appleseed Rifle Clinic.  They have invited us back there again next year, and we are in the process of setting the schedule.

The weather was great both days (sunny, if a little chilly), and we couldn't have asked for a better weekend of marksmanship and heritage!  The shooters all persevered through the course of instruction and greatly improved as the weekend progressed.  We worked through the day proceeding from demonstration to dry fire practice to live fire confirmation of our marksmanship instruction, combined with history and heritage.  A few equipment issues were quickly corrected by the knowledgeable staff.  Everyone was very receptive to the course of instruction.  History and heritage were well received and there were some great discussions.

One shooter could not return on Sunday, but we worked through Sunday morning drills, an early lunch with KD, and then on to AQT's.  Everyone showed great improvement as the day progressed, and as they had the process down pretty well, we proceeded at a good pace. The Time Monkey stayed off our backs, and quite a few AQT's were shot, including two Rapid Fire versions.

The shooters showed those pesky Redcoats the strength of our cause on both the AQT and Hits Count Targets, and we have SEVEN Riflemen who either shot score for the first time or requalified!  Huzza!  Six also cleared the Redcoat target, with two doing it sitting!  Huzza!

Thanks to all the shooters and the Southern Lancaster County Farmers Sportsmen's Assn for a great weekend.
