A High Son of Liberty and 4th of July

As KY State Coordinator I was honored to be a part of a July 4th celebration which not only recognized the 248th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence but also honored one of our volunteers - Master Instructor Don Duncan (DonD) with the highest award Project Appleseed can bestow - High Son of Liberty.

Appleseed volunteers, friends and neighbors joined together on July 4th in Murray KY to celebrate Dond's accomplishments and his impact on Appleseed. KY is one of the numerous states in which Dond instructed and mentored countless students and instructors during his long tenure. I have worked with Dond several times in my short history with Appleseed and I learn something valuable at every event. Additionally, I know he only a phone call away when a point of instruction needs clarification for me (ask me how I know    )
