Twelve friendly people gathered at the Monticello Sportsmen Club range to learn more about our heritage and work on their marksmanship with a pistol.  We spent the day learning about both speed and accuracy with our pistols.  Everyone showed great attitudes and willingness to learn.  While we didn't mint any new Pistoleerâ„¢s, we did see improvement until the heat wore most out.

Thank you to the host range - Monticello Sportsmen Club - for allowing the use of the range and clubhouse.

Thank you to the participants - you are why we host events - getting the privilege of sharing our heritage and providing marksmanship instruction makes for awesome days with my fellow Americans.  Keep up the dry-fire practice and range practice as able and I hope to see you at an event in the near future where you will earn those Pistoleerâ„¢ patches.

Well done fellow instructors - thank you for being the steady influences you always are.

Pictures to come.

Lyle, Walter, Evonne - thank you for coming out again.
Walter - best of luck at college, thank you for giving up a day to come spend with Appleseed.
Evonne - Thank you for coming out and making your instructor's better.
Lyle - hopefully you found the images from the last event and this one in a more timely manner
Seth - thank you for stepping up for an orange hat and keep working on those one-hand stages.
Hyun-Soo - work on the focus step of the six steps and you should see improvement in your consistency
Brian - I don't know how you managed it - but well done on working through the leg injury and still deciding to come out.  I look forward to seeing your abilities when you are not bothered by a bum leg.
Eric - keep up the practice and you will continue to see that improvement
Andrew - thank you for coming out last minute.  Look forward to more events with you.
Mathias - awesome job for first time picking up a pistol
Kyra - if your dad would clean the pistol better, you would have done better - keep up the work
Diane - awesome job as always
Shawn - way to persist.  Definitely a change from the long guns you normally shoot.  Thank you for coming out.

To all - a huge thank you for spending a Sunday with us.  I hope each of you continue to practice your marksmanship and shooting skills.  They are perishable skills that need to be trained and maintained.

Shannon.

Evonne, Walter and I really appreciate all the hard work the instructors put into the day!
It is easy to see the passion they have for teaching both shooting skills, and the history of our country's founding!
And it is great to see the pictures from the event, Well done Shannon!
We are looking forward to our next event!
