Colebrook, CT (NWCSA) AAR 14 Sep 24 1-day event

We had a SOLD OUT shoot of 12 students and the traveling crew from NH.  Many returning attendees, but three of them brought their teenagers for their first event.  It was a beautiful early fall morning but the heat quickly built in a very warm afternoon.  Safety was paramount and we heard the three strikes throughout the day.  Congratulations to Adam, Alex, and Mark for their re-qualification, including Mark earning distinguished.  It was my first opportunity to pass out the new "Distinguished Rifle Score" tab.  Great job!  The teens persisted, and were presented with the William Diamond patches for their attention and efforts for the entire day. Caroline persisted, Ben struggled with some equipment issues but showed improvement, and Abby hit a 194.  Thanks Bob, Adam and Neal for bringing them along. Dan, Dan, Alix, and Rob a Rifleman persists and we hope to see you again.  Thanks to Dave and TOMINCT for getting the line set up in advance it's a great facility and was a great 1-day event.

 A big thanks to the NH crew for their being able to run this event. I got caught by the perfect, or imperfect, storm and couldn't attend this one.

 The attendees were taking in the instruction and the results proved they were taking to it well.

 A big thank you to NWCSA for use of the range, we look forward to other events being there in the future.
