Huntsville, AL IBC January 27-28, 2024 AAR

Huntsville 1-24! was a great weekend at one of the most amazing facilities in the Southeast, Bullet & Barrel. We are extremely grateful that B&B has hosted our IBC for 5 years running. 

Ten members of the AL cadre were able to attend with JPL and dond joining us from KY.  It was a very experienced group that helped sharpen each other's skills for the upcoming season.  On Saturday we discussed Appleseed culture then moved into safety briefings, sling, six steps of firing the shot, all positions, and IMC. Over lunch we made time to talk about techniques for telling inspiring history. 

On Sunday we had time for a quick review before covering administrative drills and coaching strategies.  The highlight of the weekend is the history exercise over lunch on Sunday.  Almost every participant exceeded their allotted time because they enjoyed the topics so much.  It was a good opportunity to talk about time management and knowing your own tendencies when presenting to a group compared to practicing at home.
